At last, Latvian Jeepers also have their own serious, active and attractive Jeep Academy! More than 30 Jeeps participated to the Jeep Academy from early morning. This represented a whole range of Jeep models and more than 70 Jeepers, which were ready to fill themselves with new both theoretical and practical knowledge about Jeep.

We started with a 2 hour lecture with prepared materials covering Jeep history, structure and off road driving. Lectures were rounded up by a test, where the Latvian Jeepers demonstrated excellent results!

Afterwards we were divided into 3 groups and every Jeeper went through a special track, accompanied by an instructor, in order to master different off road driving elements and tips, covering in their Jeeps steep inclines and declines, cross gradients and mud.

Each driver tested his skills of precise driving. An off road driving track with an orientation zone was off course also included. Throughout the whole day there was a possibility to have a picnic. The format of this event was commonly appreciated and we will repeat it next year.

We finished the day with an award ceremoney for the winners and everybody received a diploma for completing the Jeep Academy.
